COMMUNITY FOOD BANK: New Drop-off

COMMUNITY FOOD BANK: A simple way to help someone in need

There is a new drop-off site for donations to the community food bank. Patti Fleschner has donated a large container that is kept in the meeting room at the town hall. Members of Trinidad Civic Club will see that the donations are regularly delivered to Big Lagoon Community Church to be provided to those in need.

City staff has agreed to put the donations into the meeting room during times when that door is locked.

Some suggested donations:
canned food with pop-top lids
-dried nuts, fruits , jerky
crackers (with peanut butter)
jar of peanut butter
cereal/granola bars
tea bags
toothpaste, toothbrush
plastic forks, spoons
bandaids
socks
lip balm
bar of soap (plastic bag to keep soap in)
small packages of Kleenex
