The Trinidad Civic Club was first organized in 1913 and joined the General Federation of Women's Clubs in 1914. Its purpose is to work for civic improvement, child welfare, education, and the promotion of harmonious spirit.
There have been many Trinidad Civic Club projects over the years, one of which is the building and maintenance of the Trinidad Bay Memorial Park and the Memorial Lighthouse where memorial services are held every May. The club also organized and completed the construction of a commercial kitchen in Trinidad Town Hall and refurbished the Civic Club room, which is also used as a meeting place by several community organizations. The Club raises money to donate to scholarships, Trinidad School, 4-H Trails, Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Program (HOBY), and Boy Scouts, just to name a few.
Women of all ages are welcomed into the Trinidad Civic Club. If you are interested in working with a positive, enthusiastic group of ladies to have fun and benefit our community, call one of the numbers below.
Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month from September to June at 10:00 A.M. with a program at 11:00 A.M. For further information tel:707-677-3655
